DC constitutes team to verify allegations
Transfer of 240 teachers by CEO Kishtwar

Kishtwar, Mar 9: After protest by Teachers and Masters Association Kishtwar , the Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ghulam Nabi Balwan today constituted three member committee headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishori Lal Sharma to verify the allegation of favoritism, nepotism and violation of transfer policy rules.
As per the details available with "Early Times" in repose to the protest of teachers association and resentment showed by political parties like PDP, NC and social activists over the transfers of 240 teachers made by the Chief Education Officer Kishtwar Abdul Hamid Fani on Saturday vide order No. CEO/K/NG/2016/25462-66 Dated 5-02-2016, who allege that the aspirations of the teaching community who are eagerly waiting for the home posting after serving in far flung areas has not been fulfilled, beside at the same time few teachers were posted at zero distance, while at many teachers were posted from one far flung area to another far flung areas including handicapped persons, DC Kishtwar order for constituent of three member committee comprises of ADC Kishtwar Kishori Lal Sharma, Principal DIET Bihari Lal and former CEO Kishtwar and HOD DIET Javed Ahmed Kichloo. The committee was asked to review the transfer list case wise and the committee has been asked submit the report to him by or before 20th of March 2016.
Meanwhile PDP Youth President Kishtwar Wasil Doolwal along with other party activists also called on Deputy CEO Kishtwar and showed their resentment over the haphazardly transfers of teachers by ignoring the aspirations of the deserving and genuine cases. "We condemn this transfer list and wanted it to be put on hold" said Wasil Doolwal added that CEO Kishtwar signed the list at Jammu and circulated it on social media. "CEO Kishtwar was out of station since long--- it suggested that the list was prepared at local level and forwarded it to him--- thus question arises that what was the need to issue the transfer list from Jammu--- he should have come to Kishtwar first and then issued the transfer list, but CEO Kishtwar did it otherwise" said Wasil Doolwal While talking to "Early Times" President Teachers and Masters Association Kishtwar Mehboob Qazi said that DC Kishtwar had assured them that justice will be done with all those teachers who had been denied proper posting after serving in far flung areas. He said that the association has repose full faith on the commitment made by DC Kishtwar.
