Special trains to clear Holi rush for Mata Vaishno Devi

New Delhi, Mar 9: In order to clear Holi rush, Railways has introduced special trains for Mata Vaishno Devi, Barauni and Darbhanga from here next week.
Besides these three destinations, Railways will also run special train between Katihar and Ferozpur from March 17.
Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Delhi tri-weekly AC Suvidha Express will depart from Old Delhi station at 11.05 PM every Monday, Thursday and Saturday from March 19 to 31, (six trips) to reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 12.15 PM the next day.
In the return direction, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra - Delhi AC Suvidha Express will depart from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 8.15 PM every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday from March 20 to April 1 (6 trips) to reach Old Delhi station at 10.15 AM the next day.
Comprising 12 AC-3 tier coaches, the AC Suvidha Express will have stoppages at Panipat, Ambala, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Pathankot, Jammu Tawi and Udhampur stations.
The New Delhi - Barauni Bi-Weekly AC Suvidha Express will depart from New Delhi station at 7.25 PM every Tuesday and Friday from March 18 to 29 (4 trips) to reach Barauni at 6.50 PM the next day.
In the return direction, the Barauni- New Delhi Bi-Weekly AC Suvidha Express will depart from Barauni at 9.35 PM every Wednesday and Saturday from March 19 to 30 (4 trips) to reach New Delhi station at 10.10
Comprising five AC-2 Tier and eight AC-3 Tier coaches, the New Delhi - Barauni - New Delhi Bi-Weekly AC Suvidha Express will have stoppages at Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Deoria Sadar, Siwan, Chhapra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur stations.
The Delhi - Darbhanga Bi-Weekly AC Suvidha Express Special train will depart from Old Delhi every Tuesday and Friday from March 18 to 29 (5 trips) at 11.15 AM to reach Darbhanga at 9 AM the next day.
In the return direction, the Darbhanga - Delhi Bi-Weekly AC Suvidha Express will depart from Darbhanga every Wednesday and Saturday from March 19 to 30 (5 trips) at 12 noon to reach Old Delhi station at 12.40 PM the next day.
The Delhi - Darbhanga - Delhi Bi-Weekly AC Suvidha Express with five AC-2 Tier and eight AC-3 Tier accommodation will stop at Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Deoria Sadar, Siwan, Chhapra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur stations.
