Srinagar, Jun 2: Authenticating the genuine concern of the legislators raised by them from time to time with regard to non implementation of District Development Board meetings, the government reply stated that out of 486 decisions taken in Board meetings of 20 Districts of the state chaired by former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed for the year 2015-16, only 146 decisions were implemented on ground.
In reply to A.Q No. 89 of MLA Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen, the Assistant Director (AP), Planning Development and Monitoring Department, in Board Meetings of 20 Districts, 486 decisions were taken and among these decisions, only 146 decisions had been so far implemented on ground while the implementation of 340 decisions are under implementation which is 70% of the total decision taken during the District Development Board Meetings chaired by late Mufti Sayeed. As per the details, Kulgam and Ganderbal Districts are at the bottom of the list where only one DDB decisions was implemented out of 16 and 11 decisions respectively.
In Srinagar out of 14 decision, 9 were implemented and 5 are under implementation, In Pulwama out of 22 decision, 5 were implemented and 17 are under implementation, In Shopian out of 16 decision, 3 were implemented and 13 are under implementation, In Anantnag out of 28 decision, 7 were implemented and 21 are under implementation, In Bandipora out of 24 decision, 8 were implemented and 16 are under implementation, In Baramulla out of 34 decision, 12 were implemented and 22 are under implementation, In Budgam out of 22 decision, 8 were implemented and 14 are under implementation, In Kupwara out of 31 decision, 6 were implemented and 25 are under implementation, In Jammu out of 26 decision, 8 were implemented and 18 are under implementation, In Samba out of 28 decision, 13 were implemented and 15 are under implementation, In Kathua out of 23 decision, 3 were implemented and 20 are under implementation, In Udhampur out of 35 decision, 19 were implemented and 16 are under implementation, In Reasi out of 33 decision, 13 were implemented and 20 are under implementation, In Doda out of 29 decision, 9 were implemented and 20 are under implementation, In Ramban out of 24 decision, 4 were implemented and 20 are under implementation, In Kishtwar out of 25 decision, 3 were implemented and 22 are under implementation, In Rajouri out of 19 decision, 10 were implemented and 9 are under implementation and in Poonch out of 26 decision, 4 were implemented and 22 are under implementation even after the lapse of one year since former CM chaired these DDB meetings. |
