Early Times Report
Rajouri, June 2: A middle school situated at a far off place in education zone khawas was found closed during working hours on Thursday. As per reports Govt middle school Pungha in Khawas zone often remains closed. Parents of the aggrieved students expressing their great resentment stated that to teach 55 students in this middle school 4 teachers have been appointed by the department. The four teachers alleged to have remain absent during most of the times. Ranjit Singh, Bhagat Singh and some other parents told that Scholls opens only for two or three three days in a week and the students are left on the mercy of God. The alleged carelessness of teachers and education department has led students to face many hardships. The carelessness of teachers can be gauged from the fact that only one student of the said school could get through in recently declared muddle standard examinations. Due to alleged absenteeism of teachers the students are forced to leave the school in mid way. When contacted chief education officer Rajouri Altaf Hussain assured strict action against the teachers. CEO stated that he has instructed ZEO concerned to visit the school and submit a detailed report within three days after which strict legal action will be initiated against the teachers. |
