The four day theatre festival is a tribute to the legendary art and theatre icon of the state late Sh Vijay Suri who brought the art of drama to great heights. Today's play was a soul stirring piece of a social stigma attached to the widows in their fag end of the life. The amalgamation of different stories knitted on a subject of subjugation of women by the male chauvinism was the essence of the play which was perfectly executed by the artists who did complete justice to their respective roles. Kajal Suri, who played Bano Beum a withering old widow abandoned by the family living with another Slma Begum in a forlorn house played the histrionics that touched deep inside . Shobhna Bhardwaj as Salma Bano also gave a scintillating performance of the widow, both of whom are bound to each other deeply and many times recall their earlier hey days and later the abandonment by the their respective families also. The one and a half hour treat was a special mention of the socialistic values of the people who are affected with a human transitions that lead to the disintegration of the lives and leave their loved ones suffering in the end. " Aur Aik Sach' written and directed by Aziz Quraishi had a smart cast of actors who besides Kajal Sui and Shobhna Bharti included Raghvendra Tiwari as Bab Nade Shah, Gautam Jaiswal as Baba, Prakash as Master , Isha Malhan as Bahu, Malan as victimized woman , Shallu Singh as Thakuraien, Mnal Sayeed as Kheran and Kuwam as the child artist bound on stage and gelled well to produce a piece of wonder .
