6/2/2016 11:31:52 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Jun 2: In a latest development in alleged sexual harassment case at Nagbani school, the District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DGPC), Jammu has demanded constitution of Special investigation Team (SIT) for fair probe in the much publicized Nagbani School sexual harassment case.
The DGPC demand came after the lady teacher approached the committee alleging that she was being harassed by the police and school authorities.
Addressing press conference the members of DGPC said that the lady teacher who happens to belong minority is facing harassment at the hands of school staff and police. "Despite knowing the fact that the Principal of Nagbani School Alok Betab was booked," they said, adding, "the said principal yet has not been removed or transferred."
They also said that after obtaining the bail, the accused disclosed the identity of the victim girl through microblogs 'face book' and through press conference which is violation of the guidelines of the Superme Court in case of Vishakha v/s state and thus he should be booked for this offence.
The DGPC also accused the DAV authorities for not taking the issue serious which apparently goes against the PM's message Beti Padao and Beti Bachayoo.
Pertinently, Principal Nagbani School was booked by the Domana police after the lady teacher lodged complaint of sexual harassment against him however he got anticipatory bail in this connection..
