Early Times Report Srinagar, Aug 9: The separatist leaders in Kashmir who were waiting in wings to get an invite for the talks over Kashmir have been left dumbfounded instead security grid has been asked to act tough against them. The separatists who have been continuously fuelling the present unrest in Kashmir were expecting an invitation of talks from the government of India over ending the present crisis. However, the stern posture being exhibited against them by the union home ministry has left them cornered from all sides. The union government, according to sources, has decided to bring the elected legislators on board to discuss the present situation in Kashmir and measures to bring back the normalcy in the region that has been reeling under the continuous curfews imposed after the strike calendars are issued by the separatists every week after since July 8. Ishtiyaq Ahmad ET Report Srinagar, Aug 9: In an attempt to end month long protests in Kashmir, the police on Tuesday said that it would continue action against the youth involved in stone pelting. A senior police official preferring anonymity told early TIMES that they have identified those who create law and order problem in the valley. "We have identified stone pelters through videography and have already detained some of them. There are more arrests to come and the crackdown will continue against those indulging in stone pelting," the police officer told early times.
