| | Can BJP desist from playing second fiddle to PDP? | | | Abodh Sharma
Early Times Report
Jammu, March 1: On the hind side of euphoria within BJP to have assumed power in Jammu and Kashmir for the first time, there are apprehensions that BJP that represents Jammu region in the Government, did not start playing second fiddle to its coalition partner PDP; the indication of which was evident in the list of Cabinet Ministers, in which 11 names were from the PDP and merely 5 from the BJP.
Beyond the list of cabinet Ministers, however, the apprehensions are not unfounded because the history stands testimony to the fact that the Ministers from Jammu, which invariably belonged to Congress in the previous governments with National Conference and PDP...

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 1: The strategic Jammu province is sitting on a volcano of discontent. The people of the region cutting across party lines are chaffing. They are seething with anger, which can explode anytime. And if it happens, the results would be disastrous. They constitute almost half of the State's population and inhabit land area two times that of Kashmir. They inhabit over 26,000 sq km of the State's land area, bulk of which highly treacherous, difficult and inaccessible, as against less than 16,000 sq km area the people of Kashmir occupy.
The anger of the people of Jammu province is not only directed towards the discriminatory, arrogant, selfish and insensitive p...
| | 66 month prediction of 'Great NC Astrologer' finally buried! | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, March 1: Finally, the credibility of 'great astrologer' who whispered in the ears of ex-Political Advisor and now Provincial President of National Conference (NC) Devinder Singh Rana of Omar Abdullah taking over reigns of power in Jammu and Kashmir for another 66 months is at stake.
His prediction has gone completely wrong and PDP Patron Mufti Mohammed Sayeed has taken over as 12th Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. He seems to have read the lines wrong and seemingly made a vain bid to appease the ex-Political Advisor, who not only believed in this astrological prediction but shared it not only with party colleagues but also purportedly with the ex-Chief Mini...
