jammu, Apr 25: The budding students of Jammu region are likely to wait for another year as the proposed prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) is unlikely to become functional from this session too, due to failure of authorities to arrange accommodation.
Sources informed Early Times that IIT was sanctioned for Jammu in the month of July 2014 and it was announced that it would start functioning from the session 2015-16 but as per the ground situations, it would unlikely to start functioning from session 2016-17, which is to start after nearly two months.
