Jammu, Apr 15: A cultural programme was organised by the J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu today to celebrate Baisakhi.
According to press release, in a function conducted during the lunch break by the Cultural Committee of the Association, "Kavi Samelan" and songs were presented by the lawyers in a largely attended gathering of lawyers.
Advocates S. Bhagat Singh, Bhupinder Singh Bhargav, H.C. Jalmeria, S. Teza Singh, V.K. Sharma, Anoop Parihar, S.K. Puri presented poems.
Songs were presented by Advocates Jagjit Rai, Sheikh Shakeel Ahmed, V.K. Sharma and Sanjay Raina.
The function was first of its sort organised by the Lawyers body.
Appreciating the performing lawyers, the President of J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu Abhinav Sharma said that such activities shall be continued. These activities work as stress buster and development of talent.Vice President Pranav Kohli, General Secretary A.P. Singh, Joint Secretary Depesh Singh Pawar and Treasurer Rahul Sharma, YLA President Daljeet Singh Manhas and YLA Vice President Pardeep Majotra besides many senior and Young lawyers were present in the function. |
