Separatists shed crocodile tears over youth's killing | Double Standards! | | Didn't utter a word when militants murdered 3 unarmed Kashmiri cops Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 15: Separatists have made it a habit to raise hue and cry when any civilian Kashmiri is killed in the action of security forces but when militants kill a Kashmiri mainstream politician or any Kashmiri policeman they maintain silence over the issue and sometimes justify the killings carried out by the militants. Killing of a youth, Khalid Muzaffar, in south Kashmir's Tral area has evoked widespread condemnation and separatists are leaving no stone unturned to make an issue out of it. Army has claimed that Muzaffar was killed in cross firing between the militants and the Army. However, separatists are beating their chest and are trying to prove that Muzaffar was killed after being arrested. The Inspector General of Police-Kashmir--SJM Gilani while addressing a news conference in Srinagar on Tuesday had said that slain youth had gone to meet his "militant brother" in Tral forest and investigations are on to ascertain how he was killed. On the other hand separatists have announced their verdict and are trying their best to provoke people to take to streets and resort to stone pelting as it could provide them with a chance to once again foment trouble in Kashmir. They are shedding crocodile tears over Muzaffar's killing to prove a point to their bosses and handlers sitting in Pakistan occupied Kashmir and Pakistan that the proxy war started by them 25- years ago is still on and they would continue to fight till they keep on receiving the monetary assistance from the other side. Just a few days before militants killed three unarmed Kashmiri policemen in south Kashmir's Shopain area but none of the separatists could muster courage to condemn the brutal killings. They neither called for a shutdown, nor did they give any call for Shopian chalo. Someone needs to ask these separatist, who at the m of Pakistan are hell bent upon disturbing the situation in Kashmir, why didn't they raise hue and cry then. Is it that killed policemen were not Kashmiris? Were not they the sons of the same soil? Past 25-years have exposed the people preaching secessionism and beating their chests as masses know it very well that they don't do it out of love or affection they make an issue just to appease their bosses and make every possible tempt to ensure that after one killing a few more killings take place so that they can call the shots and earn huge amounts by selling the blood of people. Separatists owning palatial houses and shopping complexes and moving around in big cars is an open secret and people are very much aware about this fact. Masses know it very well that they (separatists) are not sincere and they raise hue and cry to ensure that their shops run and they don't become irrelevant. Whenever any civilian is killed separatists make a beeline in that area and leave no chance to ensure that they get full publicity and their photos and press notes appear in local dallies, which many newspapers in Kashmir carry due to their fear. Separatists stand exposed and all their attempts to malign the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have gone in a vain as their cheap tactics have become old and people don't take them seriously anymore. Separatists visit any area when incident is fresh, soon after the media focus shifts to some other event they (separatists) don't even bother to ascertain whether the family of any slain person needs some help. |
