DADAA calls on Sethi, demands telecast of Duggar Channel | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 15: In the support of getting Duggar Channel for Jammu Province, Dordarshan Approved Drama Artists Association (DADAA) Jammu deputation called on MoS for Education, Cultrue and Information Priya Sethi today at her residence and apprised her about their various demands. The deputation led its President J S Babli apprised the MoS that DADAA is fighting for the upliftment of cultural heritage and languages spoken in Duggra Pradesh Jammu. Balbli said that they are demanding Duggar channel for the pattern of Kashir channel and other 24X7 channels with sole aim to protect, promote and develop the rich cultural heritage and languages of more than one crore dogri speaking population stretched in within Mirpur, Bimber,Bag, Sayalkot and Shakargarh in Pakistan, Gurdaspur, Pathankot and Hoshiyarpur in Panjab, Chamba, Kangra, Palampur, Kulu & Manali of Himachal Pradesh. The deputationists said that Jammu is a suitable place to propagate and promote the prospective policies of Government of India in regard to Kashmir tangle to convince the masses living across the border effectively and also counter the false propaganda of Pakistan against our state as well as our country. MoS for education, culture and information assured the Members of DADAA for achieving the goal. The deputation comprises of Madan Rangeela, Utam Singh Utam, Rajinder Narang, Subash Jamwal, R.Vijay Magotra, Ms Usha Jamwal, and others also discussed various long pending demands of DADAA. |
