AIBCU pays tributes to Amebdkar 4/15/2015 11:49:29 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 15: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) today held meeting under the chairmanship of Abdul Majid Malik, during the meeting members of union pays tributes to Architect of Indian Constitution Dr. Amebdkar. According to press release, during the meeting Malik said that Amebdkar attained the highest qualification in those days when the country was being dominated by the Brahmins. Malik further said that the then Brahmins didn't allow to give rights of education and property to Dalits and and backwards. "Dr. Amedkar smelt that the way in which Gandhi and Jawahar Lal Nehru were striving for freedom, Suhdras of the country could not get freedom after great struggle", they said, adding that he got communal award in the round table conferences at Landon in 1930-31-32 which was opposed by Gandhi by going on fast till death in Yardera jail of Poona. Dr. scarified communal award and accepted the reservation for SCs, STs and kept an Art. 340 for the social justice for the other backward classes which was agreed by Jawahar Lal Nehru who remained dishonest in this matter. But V.P. Singh in 1989 granted 27 percent reservation to OBCs which was upheld by Hon'ble Apex Court's Judgement of 1992 in Mandal Report. NC leaders like Omar Abdullah garlands Dr. Ambedkar but never accepted what he said in constitution. Gulam Nabi Azad and other Muslim leaders also celebrate Amedkar's birthday but their eyes remain concentrated on votes of Shudras only. Such type of celebration of Dr. Amedkar's birthday without practical acceptance is only the job of Dhongi Babas.
