Jammu, Apr 15: BJP State General Secretary Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Kathua assembly constituency Rajiv Jasroita today expressed concern over non-disbursement of salaries of teachers. In press statement issued here he said that the teacher can be rightly called a nation builder.
"Teachers through their perseverance love and sacrifices have shown us the right path in which great men have built our nation. It is our dear teachers who mould our character, our personality and show us the right direction which leads us to our final destination", he said. Jasrotia expressing serious concern over holding salaries of daily wagers SSA Teachers, demanded immediate release of wages and salaries of Casual labours/Daily wagers, SSA teachers, FMPHW and MMPHW workers to enable them to manage their family responsibilities properly and with dignity which they deserve the most.
Highlighting the role of teacher and the impact of their protesting on roads for release of their salaries, Jasrotia said that knowledge received without a teacher's guidance can be compared to a blind man walking without his stick. Advocating for due respect to teachers he said that in the development of a country, great attention has to be paid to education and learning, as well as good morals, and nobody is more suited to assist in this process than the humble teacher. Without teachers, both knowledge and morals would suffer. |
