West Pakistani refugees stage protest 4/15/2015 11:57:47 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Apr 15: West Pakistan Refugees today staged massive protest demonstration and appealed to both Union and State governments to redress their long pending demands. According to press release, the protest was led by Labha ram Gandhi, State president of the forum. He said that Labh Ram said West Pakistan refugees have been victimized by previous governments for last 67 years which made promise but nothing do anything in favor of refugees. He said people can't apply for government jobs, purchase land and deprived of other fundamental rights of state & Union constitutions. Labha said if state government has included their agenda in CMP, it must be taken to mean with immediate effect. He said BJP made several promises during Lok Sabha and Assembly action where party provoked the sentiments of the refugees but nothing has been done till date. Labha warned to continue the series of protest demonstration across the state and informed that He would meet Prime Minister of India in next week and continuity of protest will be depended upon PM's response over the citizenship to West Pakistan Refugees.
