One killed, 4 injured in 2 mishaps 4/16/2015 12:07:48 AM Early Times Report Kishtwar, April 15: One person died while four other persons were injured in two different accidents in mountainous district Doda of Jammu and Kashmir here today. As per the details available with "Early Times" the first accident took place on Doda-Bhaderwah road when a vehicle bearing regd no JK02U-9695 skidded off the road and fell into deep gorge near Galgander some 15 Kms from main township of Doda. "A joint rescue operation was launched by police and the locals and rescue team shifted four injured to District Hospital Doda, sources said, adding, that one injured (Shazia) was later sifted to Govt Medical College & Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu for specialized treatment. The injured have been identified as Raksha Banoo (20 yrs) d/o Janghir Chowdhary, of Hawellai Mohalla, Gulshan Banoo d/o Ghulam Mohd r/o Marwah, Rubani Dar s/o Bashir Ahmed and Shazia Begum w/o Jangir Choudhary r/o Havelli Mohalla Bhaderwah. Yet in another accident which took place at Khara on Kishtwar-Batote National Highway, one person namely Alam Din s/o Mohammad resident of Drabshalla died on the spot.Meanwhile Kishtwar-Jammu National Highway continue to remain blocked at several places due to continuous landslides at various places Many critical patients were also shifted from one place to another place on beds by the people due to road blockade while both Kishtwar and Doda districts are facing shortage of essential commodities.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
