Sarpanch locks newly constructed rooms of Kunfer school 5/16/2015 11:19:35 PM RAMBAN, May 16: It may sound strange but it happens only in this hilly district that additional rooms constructed for UPS Kunfer under SSA have been kept by the local Sarpanch and his partner under their lock and key . Sources told that the newly constructed additional rooms were inaugurated by former Congress MLA Master Ashok Kumar in presence of Locals and district Officers. Additional rooms of the newly upgraded school were constructed and the execution work was entrusted to local Sarpanch who got all the estimated amount and there is nothing outstanding against the department, sources said. Strangely after a couple of days the local Sarpanch locked all newly constructed rooms unauthorizedly, alleged the locals. The concerned authorities of Education department including ZEO Batote seem in deep slumber on the matter alleged locals. Talking to Early times ZEO Batote Abdul Rashied confirmed the locking of newly constructed additional rooms and said that department has made all the payments in accordance to the norms laid by SSA."
