Anganwadi workers, helpers protest; demand revocation of termination order 5/16/2015 11:25:41 PM Early Times Report Bhaderwah, May 16: Condemning termination order by State Mission Director ICDS, J&K Jammu, Anganwadi workers and helpers of staged protest demonstration under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir National Trade Union Front (JKNTUF). According to press release, numbers of Anganwadi workers and helpers gathered in the premises new bus stand ,Bhaderwah and raised slogans against the ICDS authorities who have issued order for termination these workers and helpers who were engaged in this central sponsored scheme and are continuously working in ICDS to make this nutrition programme successful. Addressing the protesters, National Trade Union Front district President Doda Abdul Hafeez Dar condemned the quail attitude of the State Government particularly the ICDS Minister Bali Ram Bhagat who has started harassing and victimizing the poor Anganwadi workers and helpers by issuing termination orders with malafide intention to enroll his own people in the ICDS by snatching away the "Daal Fulka" of these poor Anganwadi workers and helpers.
