JK Montessorie organizes inter house summer 'Fruit Bonanza' 5/16/2015 11:48:04 PM Early Times Report Jammu, May 16 : JK Montessorie School today organized inter house summer 'Fruit Bonanza' here at school premises. According to press release, the students participated in novice activities for its celebration. It was a sweet and juicy morning for the Tiny Tots of JKMS as the little ones welcomed the seasonal Fruits with sheer & delight by celebrating "Fruit Bonanza" Students were dressed in Red, Yellow and Green dresses. Class Ist to 3rd exhibited their individual stalls where they displayed the various fruits. The fruits were presented in an ornamental way. Beautiful and elegant baskets designs were made out by cutting fruits. The garnishing look tempted each and everyone present there. The students presented their stalls with the help of poems, "stage drama-nutritional value of fruits", Act on -"Do not eat peeled fruits from road side reendours", songs about fruits and came dressed up as fruits and recited various poems on the nutritional values of fruits. The importance of eating fruits, their content values and various facts related to fruits were stated by the students. They also made every one realize that eating fruits does not mean just buying fruits cutting it and just popping it into our mouths. Its important to know how and when to eat and what is the correct way of eating fruits. K J Fotedar and Vandana Gupta co-ordinator were the judges of the competition. There were inter- house competition between classes Ist , 2nd & class third . Peace house stood first, justice house got second position and unity house secured third position. Director Academics Rajni Gupta Vice Principal Geeta Dixit were also present on the occasion. Rajni Gupta thanked the supporting staff for their efforts in making the event successful and blessed the little kids for their contribution for the event and encouraged them for their love towards Fruits.
