RS Pura, May 16 : Mother India Higher Secondary School today organized programme on 'Display Your Talent' here at school premises. According to press release, the students of Class 12th participated in the programme and displayed their talent in different categories viz. Rangoli, Dress Making, T-Shirt Painting, Sand Painting, Handicraft, Glass Painting and Project making.
All the students were divided in different groups with one student as a head of the group. Sheetal Mehra, Gurvinder Singh, Ajay Manhas, Shubham, Anjali Chouhan, Rohit Kumar- all of Science stream headed their groups. They participated in Project Making, Rangoli, T-Shirt Making and Glass Painting. In the same way Monika Choudhary, Sneh Bhat, Archana, Nisha Choudhary, Damandeep, Heena also headed their group and participated in the Rangoli, Dress Making, Handicraft, T-Shirt making. All these categories were based on different themes like Save Girl Child, Save Earth, Mother's Day, Anti-Drug Campaign. The students felt elated on displaying their talent and expressed their heartiest thanks to the management of the school for organising such wonderful activities in the school. Principal of school, Sonia Tohra appreciated the students and expressed pleasure on seeing the wonderful talents of the students.
She said that these types of co-curricular activities are the part of education and play an important role in all round development of the student. Moreover these activities help in reducing the stress of studies and help them to get refreshed and concentrate better on their studies after getting refreshed. She said that all the participants will be given Certificate of Participation.
She appreciated the efforts of the staff members in organising such type of talent show. |
