Agriculture Department organizes awareness camp 8/12/2015 11:11:01 PM Early Times Report Doda, Aug 12: The Department of Agriculture today organized one day awareness camp under farmer jagriti campaign at Village Changa of Doda. According to press release, the awareness camp was held under the guidance of Chief Agriculture Officer, Doda H K Razdan. In the camp, a large no of progressive farmers, vegetable growers, Sarpanches and Panches of various panchayats of Changa Block participated. The officers from the department and other field functioneries delivered lectures on different topics and briefed the participants about various schemes of agriculture. On this occasion, Agriculture Extension Officer Shami Kotwal brief in detail the different departmental schemes their benefits and held detail discussion regarding the activities of the department being done in the block. He also requested the farming community to come forward and avail the benefits of the schemes assured them timely supply of input and machinery and agri implements.
