Union Minister's kin gets plum post in JU 8/13/2015 12:29:33 AM Avinash Azad/ Mohd Irfan ET Report jammu, Aug 12: The relative of a Union Minister has been elevated to a coveted post in Jammu University. Sources told Early Times that not only the administration of the university has obliged the influential candidate, but Financial Advisor also ensured his presence during the interview to please the Union Minister. Eight candidates had applied for the post of Deputy Director, Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance, and the interviews were held on August 7. "Vice Chancellor Dr R D Sharma who was also chairman of the selection committee, Financial Advisor, Registrar, and nominee Syndicate Council were members of the committee," sources said. They said that all the members of the committee gave their consent to please the Union Minister. The Union Minister's kin was earlier appointed in SMVDU as contractual and later appointed in JU as OSD on contractual basis. The then Assistant Registrar DIQA got her confirmed during the tenure of ex-VC Prof Amitabh Mattoo. "Resentment is brewing among officers over biased approach of the JU administration.
