Govt not serious to solve problems being faced by KPs: Pandita | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 12: All Kashmiri Migrant Relief Holders (AKMRH) have expressed a great concern over piling of bifurcation files in relief office and lambasted the authorities for delaying the bifurcation cases of genuine migrant families. Addressing meeting held at Jagti, Sunil Pandita of AKMRH alleged that the authorities had taken several decisions but the same are not conveyed to Relief Commissioner (M) resulting in delay of bifurcation cases. Pandita alleged that the govt. is not serious in resolving the day to day problems of Kashmiri migrants making them suffer for minor activities in Relief organization. Sunil Pandita alleged that the reshuffle of existing staff and adjustment of new staff was notified and the Minister for Relief and Rehabilitation had assured to reshuffle organization but the same has not been done till date, which puts a question mark on credibility and integrity of the concerned ministry of the present government. Sunil Pandita reiterated his demand of conducting ward or panchayat elections in all the migrant camps to elect the genuine representatives of Kashmiri migrants for upkeep of these camps Pandita demanded shifting of offices of camp commandants' Jagti in the office complex lying idle at the township so that residential flats occupied by them are allotted to genuine migrant families. Ajay Bhat expressed concern over the late payment of monthly cash assistance and said the same must be released before 7th of every month so that relief holders don't suffer further demanded CBI probe in to the construction and distribution of residential blocks and improvement in water supply at jagti town ship.
