Police solves burglary case, Two held with stolen items | | | Early Times Report Udhampur, Aug 12: Police today claimed to have worked out a burglary case under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramnagar with the arrest of two burglars alongwith the recovery of stolen household domestic Utensils. Police spokesperson said, "Based on a written complaint by one Gopal Krishan S/o Kunti Kumar R/o W-2 Chigli Chouri Ramnagar, District Udhampur lodged with concerned police on August 9, stating about the theft." "An FIR No 78/2015 u/s 457/380/RPC was registered in Police Station Ramnagar, in connection with commission of theft by some unknown accused persons in his house, Police said. Police said, "Accordingly Police party of Police Station Ramnagar led by SHO P/S Ramnagar started the investigation of the case." "During the course of investigation, police party zeroed two suspects who were subjected to thorough questioning and the suspects broke down while confessing to the commission of burglary. "On their disclosures, Police Party recovered these house hold domestic items valuing to Rs.20000/-, police said, adding, "Police is also working on the involvement of these accused persons in some other theft/burglary cases." Meanwhile further investigation of the case is going on, police added. |
