Jammu, Oct 9 : Junior Kabaddi Championship organized by Jammu District Kabaddi Association with collaboration with J&K State Sports Council, concluded here at Indoor Complex, M.A Stadium.
The Chief Guest during the Championship Anil Gupta, President J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association and V.K. Magoo, Advocate, Chairman, J&K Coop. Housing Corporation Ltd. presided over the function. Guests of Honours S. Jasbir Singh, Chairman Unique Public Hr.Sec. School and Balbir Singh Chairman Jammu Marketing Cooperative Society Ltd.
Anil Gupta distributed winner trophy alongwith Medal and Certificate to the Boys and Girls team. V.K. Magoo and Balbir Singh distributed trophy alongwith Medals, Certificate and Cash Award amount of Rs.5100/-each to Winner teams to Boys and Girls Section, Rs.3100/- each to Runner up teams of Boys and Girls Section. Inderjeet Sharma , President Jammu Distt. Kabaddi Association, S. Jasbir Singh, Chairman Unique Public Hr.Sec. School distributed Third place trophy to Boys and Girls Section, they also distributed Best Raider, Best Catcher awards to Boys & Girls Section namely Ayushi Ujjval, Juhi Charak, Lucky Sharma and Haresh Kumar. Prominent among others present on the occasion are Anil Modi Org. Secretary, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary, Shakti Dutt Sharma, Surinder Mohan Gupta, Joint Secretary, Anil Sharma Coach, Ravinder Singh Bali Coach, Ankush Gupta, Coach, Sudesh Sharma Coach , Manik Sharma, Coach, Ajay Kumar Coach and other Senior and Junior Players of the Jammu District. The Final result included, Final (Girls Section) K.V. No.1 Gandhi Nagar won the match by 12 points from Govt. Women College Parade Jammu. Final (Boys Section Vishav Bharti School won the match by 30 points from Stephan International School |
