Kathua, Oct 9: State Government has sanctioned Rs 46 crore for 460 mtr long Juthana bridge to connect the inhabitants with rest of the world from Dodala to Juthana but few tainted officials and politicians diverted the actual surveyed route with the aim to provide facilities to their few workers. 95% population will not be benefitted with new resurveyed project. Rs 46 crore are being squandering to strengthening personal relation than facilitate general public. Public Works Department & Jammu and Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation JKPCC, a government owned company have rerouted construction work of road/ bridge from Dodala - Juthana at the project cost of 46 crore to Dodala via Forest beat specifically Closure of Social Forestry Mahanal to Doyale that triggered resentment among inhabitants of Juthana. It is pertinent to mention here that Health Minister Ch. Lal Singh and other BJP leaders assured development in Juthana village by sanctioning a bridge to Juthana but practically the actual survey that conducted few months back has been discarded and PWD/ JKPCC diverted the route through Forest land to please their well-wishers. Sewa Singh, a senior Citizen demanded that the road/ bridge must be constructed at actual place for benefits to locals than to impress merely blue-eyed. |
