Poonch, Oct 9: Ever since the irregularities surfaced in selection process in paramedical staff including female multipurpose workers, lab technicians, lab assistants, adolescent councilor male/female under National Rural Health Mission Poonch Chief Medical Officer Dr Mumtaz Bhatti, has started mounting pressure on the staff not to leak any information regarding this selection list in the public. "He threatened his staff of dire consequences in case the information was leaked to the public," they said.
Anticipating trouble, CMO is forcing the selected blue eyed to join immediately before any action by the higher authority in this case, they alleged further adding that the Mission Director NHM Dr Mohan Singh, under whose nose everything is happening, is least bothered to take action against the CMO Poonch for this scam rather he is feigning ignorance in the matter and trying to hush up this issue to save his image.
"The deserving candidates, who were dropped from the selection list, are feeling betrayed and expect justice from the present dispensation.
The test laboratories in hospitals in the district are lying defunct and the CMO never gave heed to improve the deteriorating situations of the hospitals, sources alleged.
Mission Direction, Dr Mohan Singh, on being contacted by this scribe, said that he would ask District Development Commissioner Poonch for finding out the facts in this matter. |
