JAMMU, Oct 9 : The tiny toddlers of Apple Kids International Pre-school, Bantalab here were today taken on an educational outing to Post-office, Janipur, here on the occasion of "World Postal Day." The World Postal day is celebrated every year on October nine. To educate the young minds, the school took these little kids to the Post office so as to make them realize the importance of Postal Services in India. Speaking to the students, Post Master said, "Spread over every nook and corner, the Indian Postal department serves the country for over 150 years." "The outing was mainly conducted to make tiny toddlers know about letter box, Post office and the process of how a postman delivers the letters to the doorsteps," said the Director of the school, Arti Sharma. |
