GoI approves funds under RMSA, SSA 10/9/2015 11:41:46 PM Early Times Report Srinagar, Oct 9: The government of India has approved 2886.8712 Crore under two important schemes of RMSA and SSA in education sector for the year 2015-16. In reply to AQ. No 90 of Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar seeking details of funds under SSA and RMSA, the Assistant Director (P) Education Department on behalf of Minister incharge Education stated that the government of India during the project approval board meeting held on 8th May 2015 in respect of SSA and 17th April 2015 in respect of RMSA has approved Rs. 2371.93 crore under SSA and Rs. 514.9412 Crores under RMSA and thus the union government approved 2886.8712 Crore under two prestigious centrally sponsored schemes for Jammu and Kashmir. The approved funds comprises of revenue component and Capital component including central and state share as well. The government reply also stated that during current financial year 2015-16, the government has no target for upgradation of schools has been approved by MHRD under SSA/RMSA, beside have also no proposal for establishment of Women Degree College in Ganderbal Constituency.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
