Doda, Oct 9: GDC Doda celebrated the wildlife week in collaboration with wildlife protection department Chenab division, in which painting competition and symposium was organised by the department of zoology GDC Doda.
The theme of the painting competition was Biodiversity, threats and conservation in which ten students participated. Hariz Aftab, Umar Farooq of B.Sc part 2nd and Ajay Jaral of B.sc Part 3rd bagged Ist , 2nd and 3rd prize respectively, whereas Mujeeb Andrabi of B.Sc part 3rd got the consolation prize. Twelve students participated in the symposium the theme of which was "Climate Change and its consequences". Gazi Abdullah of B.Sc part 2nd, Naazish Nawaz Of B.A part Ist and Umar Farooq of B.sc Part 2nd bagged the Ist , 2nd and 3rd prize respectively, whereas Mussarat of B.Sc part 2nd got the consolation prize. |
