JAMMU, Oct 9: In order to carry out the preventive maintenance by way of tightening and repair/replacement of worn out jumpers, droppers and clamps etc of 220 KV and 132 KV bays, the shutdown of 320 MVA, 220/132/66 KV Grid Station Hiranagar including 220 KV Hiranagar-Gladni and Sarna-Hiranagar transmission lines alongwith 132 KV Hiranagar-Sewa-II D/C transmission line shall be observed onOctober 12, 2015 from 9 am to 2 pm.
During the shutdown period, the power supply to Kathua, Hiranagar, Samba, Bari-Brahmana, Bishnah, Billawar, Mahanpur and adjoining areas including Industrial areas shall remain affected.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out the rectification of hotspots, routine/ preventive maintenance of 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Barn and Barn-Kishenpur Transmission Line, the shutdown of 220 KV D/C Barn-Kishenpur Transmission Line and 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Barn is allowed on October 11, 2015 from 7 am to 1 pm.
During the shutdown period, the power supply to the areas fed from Grid Station Canal, Pouni Chak, Katra, Rajouri, Draba, Jourian and Grid Station Barn shall remain affected.
Similarly, to carry out the preventive maintenance of Grid Station Akhnoor as well as replacement of damaged LA's, burnt out jumpers, droppers alongwith branch cutting of trees all along transmission lines and maintenance by way of tightening of jumpers etc, the shutdown of 132 KV S/C Gladni-Kalakot, 132 KV D/C Barn-Akhnoor transmission lines and 132/33 KV Grid Station Akhnoor shall be observed on October 11, 2015 from 7.30 am to 1.30 pm.
During the shutdown, the power supply to district Rajouri, Poonch alongwith Tehsil Akhnoor shall remain affected.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out the stringing of panther conductor for 33 KV line of G-3 feeder, the power supply to Bahu Plaza area, Divisional Commissioner Office, NHPC, Guest House, Architect Building, Narwal Areas, Nanak Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Trikuta Nagar and Shastri Nagar areas fed from 33 KV line of G-2 and G-3 feeders shall remain affected on October 11, 2015 from 8 am to 1 pm. Since G-2 feeder 33 KV line is passing over G-3 feeder near Narwal Chowk where clearance between two feeders is critical, the shutdown of both G-2-G-3 feeder is necessary. For carrying out the work of PCC pole erection and installation of HT/LT cable by M/s IRCON international ltd under RAPDRP project, the power supply to Shakti Nagar, Lane No 1, 2, 4, 10 and Canal road area shall remain affected on October 10 to 11, 2015and October 15 to 21, 2015 excluding holiday from 9 a m to 5 p m for alternate DT's.
The shutdowns are subject to fair weather condition. |
