banglore, Oct 9: Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, is emphasising on the safety of its workmen. In this direction, "Plant Safety Day" was observed at Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore.
On this occasion, M.N. Jakkannavar, Jt. Director of Factories and Boilers, Government of Karnataka, was the Chief Guest and spoke about the "Importance of Safety in work place". During his speech he emphasised on key' points on how to avoid accidents by being vigilant enough themselves and also educate the staff to be so, all the time. M.S. Mahadev, Sr. Asst. Director of Factories and Boilers also spoke on the occasion and stressed upon the need of wearing safety apparels by staff while on duty.
Anil Kumar Agarwal, Chief Mechanical Engineer and Occupier, B. M Prasad Chief Workshop Engineer and Factory Manager and other Heads of Department, members of the Staff Council and staff were present. |
