Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 9: PEACE, a social and cultural organization is organizing "Maharaja Hari Singh Night Cricket Tournament" in DBN Ground, Mubarak Mandi Complex, Jammu tomorrow. While addressing a press conference in Jammu today president PEACE, Narinder Sharma explained the contribution of Maharaja in the field of Education, women empowerment and about his nationalistic vision. He described Maharaja's role in the field of development in the whole state " was quite appreciable as during his rule every region got equally developed without consideration of religion on region. Elaborating the schedule of tournament, general secretary PEACE, Varun Magotra said that inauguration of tournament will be held tomorrow evening. The tournament will be played purely on knock out basis. He hoped that about 32 teams will participate in the tournament with no reentry and no replay of team. He said such types of programmes will be organized by the organization to make dogras aware of their culture and heritage. |
