Early Times Rport Jammu, Oct 9: A one day free medical assessment camp for Children with Special Needs (CWSN) was organized at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Satwari. According to press release, the medical assessment camp was organized as a part of assessing and identifying differently abled children between the age group of 06 to 16 years in three Zones- Satwari, Gandhi Nagar and Bishnah to provide free appliances and education under Integrated Education for Disabled (IED) under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. The camp was organized under guidance of Joginder Kumar Sudan, Chief Education Officer Jammu and under the supervision of Balwan Singh, Zonal Education Officer Satwari. During the Camp, disabled children from Government and Private Schools of educational zones Satwari, Gandhi Nagar and Bishnah were diagnosed and medically assessed in the category of hearing impairment, mentally retarded and orthopedically impairment by Dr. Ishrat Bukhari, Medical Officer, Dr. Kapil Gautam, Rehabilitation Expert, Prosthotist and Orthotist, Dr. Manish K Singh, Audiologist and Satish Kumar, Ortho Technician. |
