Tata Sumo plunges into gorge, 2 killed 11/7/2015 11:10:33 PM Early Times Report Reasi, Nov 7: Two persons were reportedly killed in a road accident in Chassana area of Reasi, bordering with Rajouri district on Saturday when the sumo they were travelling in plunged into deep gorge. Police have registered a case in this regard. Police have identified the deceased as Kashmir Singh (22) s/o Soba Ram of Mamankot and Chamail Singh (28) s/o Jodh of Bagankote. "The mishap occurred at Daraik Morh near Gota on Chassana - Budhal road when a Sumo, bearing regd no: JK14- 5649 on its way to Vhassana from Sanglikot met with accident when the driver lost control over vehicle while negotiating a sharp curve resulting the vehicle to roll down into a deep gorge," said police sources. They said one occupant of vehicle died on the spot and other injured critically succumbed on way while being shifted to nearby PHC Budhal.
