BJP hires Bihari labourers | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Nov 6: Desperate BJP leadership on Saturday brought Bihari labourers to SK Stadium at Sonawar here to participate in the Prime Minister's rally. Media spotted scores of Bihari labourers at the venue. When they were asked who brought them to the SK Stadium they revealed that a few BJP leaders had facilitated their entry into the Stadium. A top PDP leader who wished anonymity while talking to Early Times said, "Presence of non-local labourers in the rally was annoying. BJP should not have brought them inside the venue." He said, "We had told BJP leaders not to worry about the number of participants as we had made all the arrangements. I fail to understand what made them get the Bihari labourers." Sources revealed that BJP leaders were desperate to make their presence felt in the rally. "They (BJP leaders) were told by their lieutenants in Kashmir that they would get in people for the rally and they need money for it. Monry was spent but to get Bihari labourers," sources added. They said media spotting the Bihari labourers in the rally embarrassed the BJP leaders who asked their men to push them to back rows. |
