JKEDI organizes EAP

Basohli, Nov 7: Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) was launched at BDO office Basohli by JKEDI, District Office Kathua regarding the HIMAYAT scheme under Government of India, Ministry of Minority Affairs for educated unemployed youths. According to press release, the EAP was organized for educated youth of minority community under age gap 18-35 years having minimum educational qualification- middle pass to enable them to generate employment generation ventures under sectors like Agriculture, tourism, services and manufacturing.
The programme was chaired by BDO Basohli RS Jamwal and Associate Project Manager, JKEDI Kathua Abhilash Braroo, P.O. MGNREGA Raghav Ubbott and District coordinator JKEDI Kathua Hari Bushan.
During the programme the students, Panchs, Sarpanchs and women were educated about the HIMAYAT scheme and its scope for the beneficiaries. The speakers on the occasion appealed the participants to educate people and encourage them to avail this opportunity to become self reliant.
