MV Int'l celebrates Annual Sports Day 11/7/2015 11:40:55 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 7 : MV International School celebrated annual sports day 2015-16, on Saturday. The event was inaugurated by the Chairman of the school Hira Lal Abrol by declaring the event open, along with Sr. Vice Chairperson Sarita Abrol. IG BSF Rakesh Kumar Sharma was the Chief Guest for the occasion. He appreciated the efforts made by the students on "Annual Sports Day". He also motivated the students to participate in sports. The event began with the march past and all the participants took over the pledge for the sports meet. The school playground was filled with festive spirit, frolicsome atmosphere and brimming with enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Participants exhibited tremendous amount of zeal and spirit to fight to the finish amid cheers from their teachers. There was a great enthusiasm all around as athletic events like Running, Race, Relays and Race for teachers added to the excitement and thrill as each house member cheered for their representatives and the onlookers were spell bound with their activities which colourful callisthenic Drill, exemplary precision of pyramid formation and grit of the Aerobic performance. The synchronized March past parade of the four contingents was a mega event and it culminated with the victory march followed by the award ceremony.
