Jammu, Nov 14: The Jammu Students Morcha (JSM) criticized the Jammu University authority for closure of Human Genetics Centre in the varsity.
Addressing a press conference here today, JSM President Vikram Kumar revealed that Human Genetics Centre which got established due to sincere efforts of Prof Subash Gupta, leading expert from J&K on the subject matter, has been closed as the incumbent Vice Chancellor was hell bent to discard the same.
Ever since Prof Ramji Dass Sharma has taken over four courses namely B.Ed, M.Ed, M.A Political Science and M.A Economics have been closed in Directorate of Distance Education which is very shameful on the part of University administration as people of Jammu, in general, have been the losers altogether due to this maladministration, Vikram said. |
