RAMBAN, Feb, 16, : Animal Husbandry Department (AHD) Ramban in collaboration with Health Department and Municipality, Ramban organised a seminar on "Bird Flu Preparedness in Peace Time" at conference hall Maitra.
District Development Commissioner Ramban, Bashir Ahmed Dar formally inaugurated the seminar by lighting the traditional lamp.
CPO, Parshotam Kumar, CMO, Dr. Anwar Bhat, CAHO, Romesh Razdan, Manager, NABARD, Aarshi Sharma. Dy .CEO and officers of different departments were present in the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion DDC emphasized the need of generating a sense of team spirit and convergence in case of such eventualities biological disaster management or any such epidemic.
Chief Medical officer, Ramban, and Dr. Kulbeer besides numerous of field officers of the department participated in the seminar and highlighted the role of providing medical help to the population in contact at such a time. The role of Municipal Committees (MC) was also highlighted by the Executive Officer MC Ramban, Zubida Parveen in her address. |
