Early Times Report
Anantnag, Feb 16: Taking strong note of Early Times report, health department on Tuesdaycancelled auction of unserviceable items here at Maternity and Child Care hospital. Yesterday Early Times reported that some officials having vested interests are mulling to auction some costly serviceable items in the name of auctioning unserviceable items at a very low cost and aren't fallowing the procedure for the same. Official sources said that Director Health Service Kashmir and Chief Medical Officer Anantnag have taken a strong note of the news report. They said that both the officers have sought list of unserviceable items declared dead stock by the committee. An official said that fresh date for the auction will be announced only after Director's green signal. "Director Shab has sought detailed report from the committee so it is up to him to decided," an official said. Interestingly, a committee member on being contacted yesterday told early Times that he was unaware about such auction. And committee hasn't shared the list of unserviceable items with him despite being a member of the committee. Chief Medical Officer Anantnag, Dr Fazil Kochak has already assured that proper procedure will be fallowed for auctioning the unserviceable items. |
