Jammu, Feb 16: On one hand government has ordered cancellation of all attachments and has directed employees to report back to their original place of posting but it seems unnoticed in Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) as their employees are still enjoying choice attachment.
An employee of JKBOSE, whose designation Junior Assistant, original posting at Board Branch office Banihal has been enjoying choicest attachment for the last one and half years at his native place at Board Sub Office Udhampur.
Reliable source in Board informed Early Times that JKBOSE has opened its Sub Office and a Branch at Banihal. At present both offices have acute dearth of manpower due to which the employees working in these offices facing hardship.
They further said that the management of Board had sanction three posts including Head Clerk and two posts of Junior Assistant to Branch office Banihal but one of the Junior Assistant using influence within six months, managed choicest attachment at his native place.
Criticizing Board management for neglect of district sub offices, sources further said that Sub Office Ramban also facing acute dearth of staff. At present the sub office Ramban is running with three employees including In-charge Assistant Secretary, a Junior Assistant, a consultant officer and a peon rest of other posts yet not filled by management.
"Some board employees have higher links in Board management, enjoying choicest posting at home town for the last few years", sources alleged, adding that if the management had attached the employee for any reason that it should be the responsibility of management of their replacement.
They further said that however, a Sub Office should have minimum 15 employees to run the office smoothly but it was very astoundingly the sub office Ramban is still running without Section Officer, Head Clerk, Senior Assistant and several other posts, still the employees exists in sub office Ramban handle the load of 15 employees.
