Pulwama killings may delay Govt formation
2/17/2016 12:14:04 AM

Early Times Report
jammu, Feb 16: The formation of PDP-BJP government is likely to depend on the situation developing in the valley after the death of the two youth in the cross firing at Pulwama district. Sources said intelligence agencies have received inputs that a section opposing the entry of the BJP in the governance will try to flare up the situation.
PDP president cautious of the situation has reportedly told the BJP delegation that met her on Monday to wait for some time, though sources said the meeting was held in very 'cordial' manner indicating that she is not averse to forming government again with the BJP.
"The death of the two youth did act as dampener to the developments. A section opposing the alliance especially the coming of the BJP in the government is trying to disrupt the situation and some are planning to repeat the 2010 situation. The inputs have been shared with the PDP president and that's reason she has decided to go slow on it," said PDP leader.
The intelligence agencies too have received inputs and have raised red flags about the possible large scale disruption. The activities in the JNU and killing of the two youth, sources said shouldn't be seen in an isolation but in unison which have large message.
"In both the cases the anger is against the BJP as its in power in the Centre and the Governor's rule is also an extension of the Centre. The attempts are being to make a perception that BJP is anti-Muslim and there is a deliberate plan to flair up the things and if they succeed then it will be too much difficult for the PDP to form the government and so now all depends how the BJP diffuses tension at JNU and how it responds in a sensitive manner to the death of the youth so that things don't go out of hand," said a senior intelligence official.
