JAMMU, Feb 16: On the 2nd day of its protest, the Jammu and Kashmir Workers Coordination Committee (JKWCC) took out a peaceful rally from Divisional Commissioner office, Jammu to Civil Secretariat.
Led by provincial presidents Satish Sharma from Jammu and Sajad Ahmed Parray from Kashmir, the protest march was taken out to gherao Civil Secretariat in protest against non-regularization of temporary employees.
The JKWCC urged the Governor to frame a policy to regularize all daily rated workers, casual labours, need based, ITI trained, HDF, Seasonal, CP workers and all other temporary works who have been engaged in different departments from after 1994 to March 17, 2015. |
