Poonch, Feb 16: In a sustained drive launched to nab the absconders, Poonch Police today arrested absconder who has been evading his arrest for the last four years.
According to police spokesperson, the accused has been identified namely as Khadam Hussain s/o Mir Mohammad r/o Morha Bachaie-Surankote.
"The accused was wanted in a case registered under FIR No. 214/2012 u/s 324,323 RPC at P/S Surankote and was evading his arrest since 2012, police said.
On specific input about his movements, a police team led by Inspr Charanjeet Singh SHO P/S Surankote under the supervision of Reyaz Iqbal Tantray-DySP Surankote conducted a raid and apprehended the accused, police said. The accused will be produced in court of law for further legal action. |
