Jammu, Feb 16: Police today claimed to have arrested an absconder who was wanted seven different cases in different police stations including one registered in Himachal Pradesh.
Police identified the arrested as one Zakir Hussain son of Hussain Din of Laswara Tehsil Bishnah.
According to police said, "He (accused) was wanted seven cases of different Police Stations of J&K as well as Hamichal Pardesh (HP) including FIR No: 150/2013 u/s 341/323/148/201 of RPC and FIR No: 147/2014 u/s 341/323/147/148 of RPC in Bishnah Police Station, FIR NO: 72/2015 u/s 341/382 of RPC in Gangyal Police Station, FIR NO: 203/2015 u/s 380 of RPC in Gandhi Nagar, FIR NO. 50/2014 u/s 382/364/353/332/341/323 of RPC in Channi Himmat Police Station, FIR No. 382/2013 u/s 395 of IPC and FIR 45/214 u/s 223/224 of IPC in Noorpur Himachal Pradesh.
"The arrest was made by police team of police Station Bishnah led by Inspector Kulbir Singh Choudhary SHO Bishnah under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura S Harjeet Singh, SP Headquarters RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand, police said. |
