JAMMU, Feb 16: Govt. College of education, organized five day workshop, on Teaching Skills under Centre Sponsored Scheme (CSS) w.e.f. 16-02-2016 to 20-02-2016.
Dr. Renu Nanda, Head Department of Education, University of Jammu, was the Chief Guest on the occasion while the welcome address was presented by Principal of the day Prof. Anju Bala. Dr Renu Nanda in her address to the gathering highlighted that Teaching Skills play integral part in the teaching-learning process. If teaching skill are adequately used by teacher, it can beautify the whole input of teaching and can reach a satisfactory goal. In the present day class-room teaching we tend to miss the vital aspects of teaching skill and fail to hold the attention of students to the lesson that is being taught.
The keynote address was presented by Dr. Raj Singh Narania and Vote of Thanks was presented by Dr. Aksa Rao and the inaugural session, followed by concurrent Technical brainstorming sessions were presented by Prof.(Dr.) Rajeev Rattan, University of Jammu and Dr. Sunita Sharma, Khalsa College of Education. |
