DPK condemns JNU incident, seeks action against anti-nationals | | | Early Times Report jammu, Feb 16: Democratic Pannun Kashmir (DPK) today has condemned the JNU incident and has appealed to the Govt to take appropriate action against all those involved in the conduct of event and in anti-National activities. Lambasting the opposition parties including Left and the Congress for siding with the anti-nationals, convener of the DPK, Ravinder Jalali expressed shock over the behaviour of these leaders. He said these leaders have no time for the ten soldiers who attained martyrdom at Siachen and don't have a word for those who gets killed at the hands of the terrorists in India but always are ready to hail those who are bent upon destroying and disintegrating the nation. Party spokesperson said that it is a clear case of sedition and should not be mixed with dissent or "student indiscipline". "The video clips showing sloganeering and the placards in their hands, are sufficient proof for slapping sedition charges against these students, he added. "The slogans raised are directed against the integrity and sovereignty of the nation, he said. Party has also condemned the role of Delhi Chief Minister who has also pleaded the case of anti-nationals. "It is not an ordinary incident and needs to be thoroughly investigated even by NIA to enable us to go the root of the problem. The foreign hand can't be ruled out," spokesperson said. |
