Poor quality of roads irks people 3/14/2016 10:20:43 PM Poonch, Mar 14: GREF is using soil instead of sand in the construction work of roads. According to sources, in Gundi in Ward No 1 of Poonch city the construction work being executed by GREF is far below quality and standards to be maintained in such works. Sources said that the construction work of the drain and wall is in progress for which the department is using soil instead of sand while low quality cement is being utilized. A local activist of the area Jameel Ahmed while informing the media said that the low standard work is causing huge financial losses to government exchequer. He said that no officials come for checking the quality of the work while they communicated it to the concerned several times.
