| One day Horticulture awareness programme held at Majalta | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Mar 14: Horticulture Department Udhampur organized one day awareness programme for fruit growers under component Information dissemination (MIDH 2015-16) at Majalta, here today.
Chief Horticulture Officer (CHO) Udhampur C L Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion CHO exhorted upon the farmers to avail the maximum benefits of various schemes being run by the department.
He also presented a detailed account of the schemes and incentives being provided by the department.
District Level Subject Matter Specialist, B V Gupta and SMS Salil Gupta were the resource persons also delivered technical lectures in the awareness programme.
Programme was attended by Representatives of PRIs, prominent citizens and large number of farmers of the area. |
